Cheesecloth Ghost

These were so much fun! once I made one I was ready to decorate the entire house with them! There are several online tutorials so you can check them out as well but I wanted to note some things that worked best whenever I made mine.

Supplies:
1. Aluminum Foil
2. Hanger (preferably the cheap ones you get from the dry cleaners)
3. Wine Bottle or pop bottle
4. Starch
5. Spray Bottle
6. Cheesecloth

Wad you aluminum foil into a ball and leave some excess so that later you can insert it into the top of your bottle. If your using a dry cleaning hanger some of those you can simply remove the cardboard rod and that form works well for the 'arms' of your ghost. If not you'll have to use some wire cutters to shape your arms. Assemble the body of your ghost. I simply shoved the top portion of the hanger into the bottle top and then added my foil head. Then cut and drape your cheesecloth over your ghost body. I used two layers of cheesecloth and then gathered everything at the base. Also it's best to be working with a plastic drop cloth of some sort. Initially I did it on a scrap piece of cardboard and it was a little difficult to remove because the cloth was sticking to the cardboard. Saturate the cheesecloth with starch and then wait to dry. Carefully pull the form off the bottle. Tah-Da instant Halloween decor!

Cupcake toppers

Whale themed cupcake-toppers. Download the file here and then simply cut out the images! I added some scrap-booking paper around a few of them but I like the look of the original ones better because they still showed off the icing and sprinkles. I used craft Popsicle sticks and then glued two circles onto each side, cutting off the excess portion of the stick. I think Walmart carries some lollipop sticks that would work as well! Enjoy!
